About the House:

The founders of The Casa Gives Back! Auction Program, Al Toney and Keith Toney, originally from Massachusetts, are excited to introduce Casa de Hoy, located in Playa Junquillal, Guanacaste, Costa Rica! The property has undergone an intense renovation, transforming it from a run-down 2-bedroom, 1 bathroom house into a stunning 3-bedroom, 2.5 bathroom Villa that sleeps up to 8 people and features polished concrete floors andcounters, handmade teak furniture and cabinetry by a local furniture maker, air conditioning throughout, high-speedinternet, laundry machines, two large covered patios, a roof deck and a new 3.5 meter x 6 meter pool!Being next door to the original Casa de Mañana, where the Toney’s now permanently reside, new guests at Casa deHoy will enjoy the same conveniences as those before them, like being one hour and fifteen minutes from theLiberia International Airport (LIR), and a 3-minute walk to the supermarket and multiple restaurants, including theguest favorite, Lochito’s Restaurant with Chef Numa and Mercedes, only 2 properties away. Walk or ride to thesand, surf and sunset at Playa Junquillal, or Playa Blanca in just minutes. Playa Blanca offers amazing snorkeling!Howler monkeys, parrots and much more frequent this property, where you can also hear the ocean from the largepatios, or at tree level on the spacious roof deck overlooking the pool! Renowned surfing is found at PlayaJunquillal, or a few minutes’ drive to Playa Negra. Playa Avellanas is about 15 minutes’ drive, and golfing is only20 minutes away in Pinilla.
